The dinner/food fight between Tom & Jerry is hilarious, and Tuffy (who was called "Nibbles" in the early cartoons, including this one) is the cute cherry on top of this award-winning cake.^^ #06.) "The Little Orphan": Defiantly a good episode to watch whether it's Thanksgiving or not. Plus, it was funny when Tyke started to hiccup. #07.) (tie) "That's My Pup" & "Hiccup Pup": When it comes to the character of Spike the Bulldog, I'm neutral with him, because on one hand he's a total jerk who beats up Tom even when it's not his fault while on the other, he's a great father character & the moments with him & his son, Tyke, are just adorable^^.Īnd these two episodes are one of the few episodes on Spike in it that are my favorites because he wasn't a total jerk in neither of them. The failed training montage still gets me, and Tuffy's voice & French accent was adorable to listen too.^^ ![]() #08.) *imitating Tuffy* "Touche'! Pussycat!" : This one is my favorite out of all the Two Mousekateers (no relation to the Disney Mousekateers) cartoons because it doesn't involve Tom getting/threaten to get the guillotine *shivers* nor Tuffy getting hurt just to deliver letters from & to a lazy irresponsible love-sick Jerry. #09.) "Pecos Pest" : Jerry's uncle Pecos is such a funny guy in the cartoon, and let's not forget his catchy tune & the running with Tom's whiskers. But I like Cat Concerto better because the gags were funnier (and the rivalry between Tom & Jerry made a lot more sense). *Fun Fact: Bugs Bunny did a cartoon that is similar to "The Cat Concerto", which also involved Bugs having trouble a pesky mouse. And the music is was fit perfectly with comedy bit. #10.) (tie) "The Cat Concerto" & "Johann Mouse" : Both of these episodes are tied because they have one thing in common, Tom playing the piano (very excellently might I add ). ![]() So here are 10 of my favorite cartoons (plus honorable mentions) of the famous cat & mouse duo. Still you can't deny that they inspired so many great cartoons & rivalries over the years, and they have their moments when they try something new outside of the cliche formula. Who doesn't love "Tom & Jerry"? Okay, maybe those who are sick of Jerry always winning.
